Adeline Vanderver, MD

Dr. Vanderver is a child neurologist and biochemical geneticist and serves as Director of the Leukodystrophy Center of Excellence at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) as well as the Kamens Chair in Translational Therapeutics. She is the Research Section Head in the Division of Neurology and is a tenured Professor of Neurology, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. She is communicating investigator for a multi-PI consortium funded by NCATS and NINDS through the Rare Disease Clinical Research Network Mechanism, the Global Leukodystrophy Initiative, which includes eight US based centers, numerous international collaborators, and >50 advocacy partners to collectively advance clinical trial readiness for the leukodystrophies.
